Dark Chocolate Dip

Ah, desserts are the night’s sweet givings. Decadent and indulgent, they are a dreamy end to a long day’s work. I had meant to start the year with a fondue of chocolate and fruits but we overdid that new year’s eve night with a galore of food that seemed unending.

I finally had the chance to make a chocolate dip dish on a cold, windy night.

It’s really a simple thing to make though I’m not sure how correctly made it is. This is a small dish meant for two people, a romantic night in.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate, chopped very small
  • 1/4 cup of soy milk
  • 1 tsp of sugar, or more to your liking
  • Any variety of fruits

Step 1: Boil milk and add chocolate quickly, they will heat up very quick since it’s a small batch. Add sugar. Taste and add more sugar if you want.

Step 2: Cook until it’s to the thickness you like. Serve with fruits you’d like to have, but sweeter fruits would be better since the chocolate will mostly be dark.

My boyfriend ended up licking the bowl of chocolate, as he’s quite a lover of dark chocolate.
