What Is A Job But A Game?

A job is a job is a job.

At the end of the day, you know you need it to pay the bills.

Growing up, my parents never talked about being happy or fulfilled at their job. They only worked to feed us, to have a roof over our head, to have a car to drive us around. When I got to high school, there started to be guest speakers who talked about being happy at a job.

Reasons Why I’m a Quiz Addict

Quizzes
A quiz I helped designed for an old job. That was the fun old times.

I love quizzes. I can’t get enough of them. If I could, I would spend all day taking all sorts of quizzes. Once I start, I cannot stop. It’s such an addiction. Worst is when I find a quiz I like while at work, and find myself spending my entire lunch break taking quizzes. (Where was that sandwich I bought? Hmmm…)

(I Could Live On) Loving You

Warrior’s have no heart…no sympathy…no regrets…no meaning to life…

There was one man who stood alone among the worn soldiers trotting forward. He alone stood fiercely and proudly. He was the vanity of her eyes…the agony of her heart…the being that made her aware of her feminine needs…wants…and desires. They all pooled into one at his gentle touch…his commanding voice…his overpowering presence.

Blood Orange Earl Grey Cake

Blood Orange Earl Grey Cake
If anyone knows me, they’ll know that I absolutely adore Earl Grey tea. One time I went to Paris, I bought boxes of earl grey and green tea cookies from Mariage Frères, Maison de Thé à Paris. There were so many boxes that when I went to the airport, a flight attendant asked me to put the wheels of my luggage in my bag. When we opened the bag, cookies (and chocolate) spilled out at the check-in counter. I was so embarrassed by my cookie and chocolate hoarding and the crew just laughed at me. (This is not the first time I went to Paris where the crew laughed at a food I took from Paris.)

Heart-Day Dinner

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day could just be another ordinary day but it’s definitely a GREAT excuse to have a special romantic dinner at home with candles, flowers and wine. I got a text message from my mother, which always feels good. And I got my dog a toy. I know that everyday should be a day to tell your loved ones you loved them, but it’s not a bad idea to a commercial reminder once in awhile.
