It’s back to Meatless Monday and I was really craving Caesar salad. However, since Caesar salad does have anchovy as a base, I had to find another similar dressing that was thick and creamy. I had loved the tahini dressing for the falafel salad and wanted to reuse it.
I also had some MorningStar Farm veggie bacon left, which taste just like bacon. However, the texture isn’t as crispy. It’s a good substitute if you want to veer away from grease and fat. If you ever find any MorningStar Farm items in your local store’s freezer, I would suggest trying some of them out. They aren’t bad veggie options at all.
Ingredients for Salad
- 2 cups of kale
- 3 slices of MorningStar Farm Veggie Bacon Strips, chopped
- 1/4 cup of croutons
Recipe for Tahini Dressing was inspired by Little Ferraro Kitchen.
1. Massage kale very well with the tahini dressing. Let it set for about 15 minutes.
2. Add kale and crouton and serve.
